Hi my friends, I've got an awsome, exciting news for you! Few months ago I was asked by talented teacher from New Zealand, Nic Howard to prepare a project and handout for one of her new classes for Big Picture Classes : Dimensional Details - Expanded Version.
Of course I was happy and excited to participate in this project... here here is a peek of a layout I made:
Dimensional Dimensional Details - the Expanded Version, has been updated with hot new techniques, step-by-step instructions and is full of gorgeous new examples, as well as including the favourites from the original class. Add all this to the lighthearted mood that Nic is well known for and this is one class that you won't want to miss. Students new to Dimensional Details, as well as those that joined Nic in 2010, will enjoy fresh new enthusiasm for the creative process and plenty of inspiration to scrap projects for months to come.

Creating art is like a breath of fresh air. When the project is completed, there is no other feeling on earth that brings that certain satisfaction. Art is as much a sustainable life requirement as breathing.

ReplyDeleteHello
ReplyDeleteI would love to win a place on this on-line class, I do love your creations, and how you add such wonderful 3 dimensional elements, and make them all work without it being cluttered.
What do I love about creating? Everything; from the moment I sit in my chair and pick up a piece of paper... my thought processes take over, I play and play until I like what I see. With me there are no preconceived ideas, I like to experiment with different media, not all of them work but most do. Rules? what rules, I break the rules Ha. I like to get inky and my desk is messy but it is loved, it is a place where I escape and nurture my creativity, this is what makes me happy; I enjoy every moment in my craft room.
Thank-you for the chance, I hope I am lucky.
Smiles:)
Sue

I just love creating --making something so fantastic out of something that someone has thrown away is a sheer delight. It consumes me until it is finished and all the time I'm thinking of something else or what else can I find to make.
ReplyDeleteThank you to both you and Nic for offering this opportunity.
ReplyDeleteIt's tough to put my finger on one thing that I love about crafting as there are just so many things. Though when push comes to shove the thing I really love the most is the fact that there is no wrong about crafting. There is nothing you can't do or craft or use in your crafting. No subject matter that can't be crafted. No one can tell you not to craft.
Thanks
Paula
