Dreaming in Blue by Lori Woods

Hello creative friends!

I started the project with one idea in my head and it turned into something completely different. It’s good to be flexible and let yourself flow with the creative process!

I started with one of the new Finnabair stencils to create background texture. I then created my design using various pieces from some of the new moulds, mechanicals and chipboard.

I used two colours of impasto paints to create a gradient paint effect, darker on the edges and light in the middle and covered everything in this base colour. Sparks paints have an amazing glittery effect when you dilute them with water and I used this to highlight around the edges of the elements.

Metallique wax was used to highlight edges and textures to make them stand out and I finished off with some effect paste for a little sparkle!

Autumn Tag by Kasia Salmanowicz

 Hello,

Finnabair has once again surprised us with beautiful new products! The moulds are stunning in their variety of patterns and details. I was captivated by Rusty Flowers, Fresh Foliage, and Letterpress Numbers, so these were the first patterns I decided to use.

I created a project based on HDF in the shape of a tag with a frame, onto which I glued another product from the new releases: Decoupage Fiber Paper, full of vibrant colors and patterns that provide a beautiful backdrop for the project.

You can watch the entire creation process of this project on our YouTube channel. I encourage you to watch, and remember – be sure to check out all the new products. There's plenty to choose from!

Hugs,

Kasia Salmanowicz
