Cinderella style pumpkin tea light holder by Iveta Ziedina

Hello there!

Iveta here with my first Finnabair project!

Spooky season is in full swing so I just had to create something to reflect it!

Today I bring you this enchanted Ceramic tea light holder ( that I may or may not have “borrowed” from my sons craft stash)

The base for this project dictated the style in which I altered it.

It is very much a Cinderella style carriage so adding some Stars was a must. Then once you have the stars you of course have to use some darker blue, and then once you have the dark sky and the stars - you just have to add some glitter and waxes for that gorgeous sparkle and shimmer and make it come to life!

You can see the whole process from start to finish and also find all the products used below.

If for some reason you can’t see the video - here’s the direct link.

Lots of love from my house to yours,

Iveta

Colorful house by Olga Sępkowska

I always try to look on the bright side. We have less sunshine and it rains more often, but this is no reason to be sad. The leaves falling from the trees have such beautiful colors. That is why I chose oranges, reds and a bit of green for my tenement house.

White gesso and liquid acrylic paints make a great combination. I love watching the paint move when I spray it with water. Then I can dry it and apply another coat without any problem. Nothing gets mixed up, because acrylic paints are permament after drying.

It is hard for me to imagine creating a project without resin castings. I love moulds (I already have quite a lot of them), but these beautiful wings and cogs are most often found on my projects. How is it like to create a project without cogs?

I'd like to invite you to a video tutorial: here you can see step by step how my project was created.

Have a nice day!

Olga

Altered Teapot Frame by Aleksandra Mihelic

Hello dear Finnabair friends and fans,

I’m so happy to be able to share with you my first project for this year with new Finnabair Design team.

I know it’s not winter time yet, but it’s nearing and I have to admit I’m quite looking forward to it. I always loved winter time since I was small, and my love for it didn’t end yet. Everything is so magical and special and boy, I need some magic in my life this year! We all do, I think, don’t we?

I also love to make winter projects. There is some special magic hidden in them. This gorgeous Finnabair Teapot metal frame was one of my favourites since the first time I laid my eyes on it. And I was saving it for a winter themed project. It feels perfect. I love to have a cup of hot tea in a warm winter day. And here with this project I prepared for you, we can pour ourselves a cup of winter. In case it doesn't come. I made a gorgeous winter scene with snowy landscape and snowy trees and a beautiful snowy bridge. Making snow with Finnabair products is realy easy and rewarding and it makes project look so real. I also used several Finnabair moulds to shape resin embellishments with stars and moon which shines over the snowy landscape. With its white and blue colors it brings that fresh look that a real winter project needs and with a hint of a metal brown and gold adds that „sparkle“ for the magic. I hope it will inspire you and you will discover some new tips, techniques and ideas for your creative hours.

Here are some additional close-up photos that show project from different angles and detailed photos of a snow I created in a snowy landscape, beautiful composition on the teapot metal frame and gorgeous texture that beautiful texture fantasy pastes give to the surface.

And for all that want to try something similar by themselves, there is also a video tutorial for you on Finnabair youtube channel. I hope you’ll enjoy it!

If you can't see the video, here is direct link.

Thank you for taking time to stop by. I hope you enjoyed it and I wish to you a lovely day and stay healthy and positive.

Love and Hugs,

Aleksandra
