Glimmer fun by Anat Weksler

Hello mixed media souls!
So happy to be here in the penultimate (second last) day of 2019.
My project idea is a huge welcome to the New Year, a Gold&Silver piece using a lot of Glitter, Gleam and Shine.

In Brazil for the New Year’s Eve we all wear White/Gold/Silver cloth, so why not dress our homes with the same colors?!

So, please join me and watch my step by step video tutorial showing this Glimmer fun.

Happy New Year!!

Thanks for stopping by!

xoxo

Creativity by Tiffany Solorio

Hello, Tiffany Solorio here. I have a pretty simple art journal page to share with you.

I started with a Prima Marketing mixed media book. I added a coat of white heavy gesso to prep the page. I them added some texture with some masking tape. You can also use washi tape. I added some more texture and interest with some paper paste and a stencil.

I let that dry and then started adding my color. I used Impasto paint. I watered it down to make sure it can flow where it wants. I added some more depth with black liquid acrylic paint.

I added a sticker and some splatters to finish off the page.

Wooden clock by Anastasi Kuznetsova

Hello, friends!
I'll tell you a little about the creation process. I took a wooden blank for the clock and covered it with Black Gesso. I also covered with Black Gesso  a chipboard and clay decor, which I made using molds.

Using Texture Effect  Pastes, I added color and texture to the blank. With the help of color, I divided my base in half. Also with Texture Effect  Pastes I covered a large chipboard dial. I added paste Graphite Texture Paste for my background. Next, I put together a multilayered composition. I glued parts with glue and Heavy Body Gel.

After I added some beads, I added Metallique Paints to my work, then added Texture Effect  Pastes for the patina effect. After that, I used waxes to give the work more color and shine.

And at the very end I added Metallic Micro Beads. You can watch the creation process in this video.

Enjoy, Anastasi.
