The city under the moon by Svetlana Lipnitskaya

Hello dears! Here I am - Svetlana Lipnitskaya and my new canvas "the city under the moon".

This canvas turned out to be magical, filled with the magic of moonlight and the glow of ice-paste, which I used with stencils. Girl looks as if she whispered to a sleeping city " Shoot for the moon. even if you miss it, you will land among the stars"! Do you want to be among the stars? Then welcome!

I used two icing paste with shining pearl effect-antique gold and old silver.

You can now watch my video tutorial and see that even such a complex and detailed work is easy to do with Finnabair materials. Note how convenient it is to apply any paste with a silicone brush! It is flexible, comfortable, beautiful and easy to clean with water.

Mystic Box - Magical Aura by Bipasha

Hello crafters,
Today's mixed media creation 'Mystic box' is inspired by Magical aura - We all have an aura! The magical aura is an electromagnetic field that expands around our bodies. If we were to imagine our aura, we could visualize layers of different colours of energy emanating from our bodies. The aura contains information about our spiritual, physical and psychological health and is directly connected to the vitality of our chakras. We are constantly picking up other people’s auras. Simply when we sense another person’s mood or thoughts, we are directly picking up the vibration of their aura.

I started with a blank kraft box and added a stencilled layer of white crackle paste, followed by a black gesso coating. It is magical how the intricate stencils transforms a simple base so effortlessly! I coloured the metal embellishments with black gesso too to further apply the metallique wax and paints. Next, I used my finger to rub the metallique waxes randomly with alternate strokes and diluted splatters of metallique acrylic paints! Such a breeze to add magical shine and shimmer with Finnabair's versatile products.

I hope you are inspired to create your own magical art piece with these beautiful paints and textured pastes, that becomes an outlet to your emotions.

Here is a video recording of the process. Hope you are inspired to create your own memory keepsake cover!

Happy creating,
Bipasha

Dream Passionately by Aleksandra Mihelic

Hello dears,

It's Aleksandra here on Finnabair blog with you today again and I'm so happy to have the opportunity to share with you my latest inspiration. I have to tell you that I'm really really excited about the new Finnabair release. Did you see all the fabulous goodies already? But being a person whose heart skips when having the opportunity to alter some objects, I have no doubts the most excited with possibilities which new metal frames bring is me! So I decided that I would share with you today one of my frame alterations. I hope you'll like it.

Since I loved the raw look of the metal frame I just couldn't bring myself to cover it :D so I decided to just apply some beautiful waxes on top. I used Rose Gold Metallique wax and a few waxes from the new release: Firebird, Blue Lagoon and Peacock. They all matched perfectly papers I decided to use from Graphic 45 Imagine collection.

I have added several Dusty Attic chipboards which I also left raw since the color matched perfectly my metal frame. I arranged the composition in the left bottom corner of my metal frame and on the top of the frame around the handle. Besides chipboard pieces I also used several Mechanicals pieces and a few Prima marketing flowers.

I covered everything with the selection of waxes. As a finishing touch I added a bit of blue glitter and gold glass glitter.

I also made a video tutorial, so you can follow my steps and hopefully get inspired or maybe even learn some new tricks.

I hope you enjoyed us spending time together today and I wish you a beautiful day and weekend ahead!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
Hugs, Aleksandra
