Banknot artystyczny musi oczywiście spełniać pewne warunki (m.in. wymiar - 12x18 cm) - i zostać oficjalnie zarejestrowany na stronie internetowej organizacji.
Bad Girls Project 52 - zapraszam do zerkania i udziału w zabawie!

Art money - Wrocław II

Art money - Wrocław I

Challenge 10 on Bad Girls Project 52:
Art Money (good weight paper/substrate such as heavy H2O paper, traditional size and requirements)
Theme – Architecture (historical, invented, whole/part, series/not, etc…)
Required material – Tape (masking, duct, electrical, packing, etc…)

This is my take on this challenge - it wasn't easy but surely it was pure fun! I took some lovely photos during my trip to Wroclaw in Poland, and now altered them using several mediums. Please visit Bad Girls Project 52 blog to see all the lovely creations and to take part in the challenge! Have fun!

Supplies:
- Black&White photos, showing architecture elements - printed on an ink printer on a good quality paper - sized 12x18 cm.
- molding paste
- transparent sticky tape - scotch
- Distress ink - Black Soot (Tim Holtz)
- glimmer mists
- Tim Holtz's masks - Timeworks
- dyed gauze (black ink)
- 3d adhesive tape
- a bunch of Tim Holtz's stamps - quotes and floral pattern
- black embossing powder and a heating tool.

Tips for re-creating:
If you want to alter a photo , start with choosing the right one, give it a lot of contrast and print it on a printer, then cut to the right size, which is 12x18 cm. Now you can start altering - use masks and ink to create the gears pattern and then cover chosen places by using the adhesive tape and putting some molding paste in the corners of the photo. The next step is misting with chosen colours and drying the creation with a heating tool - the places covered with a tape will stay black and white of course. when the surface is dry - use the transparent pigment ink, stamps and embossing powder to emboss decorative motives - quotes or floral swirls. Heat it with the heating tool till the powder gets hard and sililar to plastic. The last step is stamping extra elements on the misted paper, cutting them and sticking on the art money - like the quote and a pointing hand - to create a 3D effect - it's also time to distress the edges, teraing them a bit and adding some dyed gauze and or ading some personal touches like drawing frames using a plack ink pen. It's done! Hope you 'll have great fun!

to powinno zawisnąć w galerii sztuki.
albo na ogromnym płótnie na Rynku wrocławskim.

czysta poezja...

Cudny projekt!!!

How you can work with really dark colors and layers and textures, to the bright almost everything white. You have total control in all the color palettes. FANTASTIC!!
